This is Charlotte Gainsbourg (she's brittish but raised in Paris), daughter of Serge Gainsbourg...she's most famous for her acting career. I think the music it's in the genes, but that's the funny-intriguing thing about Charlotte, she doesn't even sing...she whispers the songs and you fall in love with her, her voice is so warm, beautiful and sexy you can't help but love her. And the songs are just beautiful.

So I decided to post threes of her videos. The first one is "5:55" (that's the name of her cd if you want to check it out), it's so damn beautiful, it looks like a potograph the entire video. The second one is "The Operation", gorgeous video also and amazing song. And finally is "Everything I Cannot See", my favorite song in the cd, the vid is a live performance with the band Air.

Useless fact: she's the voice in Madonna's song "What It Feels Like For A Girl"

I'm trying to post new singers this week, well "new" for me anyway, or people that i've recently heard of.

T&S or How I spent the night talking about Entourage

So last night I went to Jarzen's (friend) house to wish Carlos (another friend) a good and safe trip, he's going to Mexico City (he's probably flying right now) to see The Cure in concert, this is a big deal because that's his favorite band in the whole world, and yes he will probably cry like a 10 year old girl at the concert hahahaha...too bad I'm going to miss that :P

This means I'm semi-hung over right now and very sleepy.

P.S. We were chatting and laughing when suddenly I hear a very familiar sound in the backround...yes It was T&S, apparently Jarzen likes them, yes I know a rocker weird guitar player dude likes T&S...there's hope in the world, or not? hahahahahaha.

I'm taking a pause on my depressing posts to show you the beauty that is sometimes television. What could be better than two girls fighting? well, two hot girls fighting in the rain :D (only on tv of course, I'm against violence)

So I've been watching a lot of vids in youtube of Tegan & Sara concerts because they're really cute and tell really funny stories between songs (yes I'm creepy), but it's the only thing that gets me in a better mood lately...so I'll keep watching (sorry dear Uta but I won't stop until you like them hahahaha)

Because tomorrow is Discovery Day (not Columbus Day! hahahaha) and I have the day off, I'm posting a cool vid today. This is Mexican singer Julieta Venegas...she's a cutie.

Thanks to Columbus and his spanish crew, we (latin americans except for brazilians) speak and sing in spanish and not in english, dutch, french, portuguese or any other language.

Recently I've been getting in contact with a lot of my highschool friends, that's strange considering I only kept in tough with only one of them after graduating. So, there's a reunion on the works, apparently they can't wait 'till it's the 10 year anniversary...the reunion it's next month...should I go? hahahahaha I bet it'll be interesting, to say the least.

So I finally got the new KT cd yesterday (YAY!) and I love it :D

I got the special edition or something and it comes with a dvd, it shows her and her band playing some of the new songs and this little gem, a cover of a Chaka Khan song. Enjoy.

-Aunt: Your uncle Goyo just called me all worried, apparently your cousin's girlfriend broke up with him today and he's been crying all day.

-Me: Awww poor thing, that sucks.
