Joy Division - Transmission
The movie of the week is "Control", based on the life (and dead) of Joy Division's lead singer Ian Curtis. The resemblance between the actor that plays Ian and the real one is almost creepy. Amazing movie.

Wow, you are right! I hadn't heard of this band or Ian Curtis but when I look this up, the photos of Ian Curtis took just like that guy in the movie clip.
Thanks for helping me learn about another movie and band.
Just so there's no confusion, the clip I posted is the actual band playing with the real Ian Curtis in 1979.
E, hahahaha! I just figured that out because I found the clip you posted on youtube. I was just a bit confused.
Anyway, that band was good! And I don't usually like punk bands.
Did you see the movie in the theaters there?
I meant to see it, but missed it. Have to wait until it is out on DVD.
