Arriba España!!!

I know you all are sport fans, but i'm REALLY a psycho about football, yes FOOTBALL, not soccer like you crazy Americans say.

The World Cup starts in June and i'm already going crazy. My team is España! (Spain) because my entire family is from there, besides our national team here in Venezuela SUCKS ASS!

Besos!

How do you feel about Venezuelan Beisbol? I'm not a football fan but I love to hear the sportscasters. They don't play much of the World Cup here in the US but on the Spanish TV channels they do. I don't speak Spanish but that's the good thing about Soccer, you just follow the ball!

Hi Slo!
Beisbol is EVERYTHING here in Venezuela, my team (Leones del Caracas) won last seasson after i think 11 years, so it was a huge deal for me...and in top of that we won The Caribbean Series!!

My older brother supports Spain. In fact he went to Barcelona to see the stadium there cos he is obsessed with Spanish football. He brought me back a football shirt for the national team. What am I supposed to do with that? So I sleep in it ;)

Maybe if Spain play England I can wear it around the flat to show Ana who I won't be supporting! ;)

He's actually not my cousin but I always joke about the last name Torres because it's like Smith in English and a very common last name for Hispanics.

So, all Torreses are my cousins, theoretically. Same with Garcias...

January 13. Almost a couple of weeks after New Years, and no one ever feels like going out because they are tired from Holiday parties. Woe is me.

So, sometimes I have a party on July 13th instead.

Yet again Ireland didn't even make it into the competition!!

I love watching classic games tho amoungst the top teams..Spain, Italy, France, Germany, Brazil, England etc..

And in 98, the World Cup was on while I was in Irish college (3 week summer school away from home in the Gaeltacht, where we have irish classes in the mornings and sports in the afternoon and only speak irish, if you were caught speaking english more than 3 times you were sent home!!) anyway we used to have ceilis (irish dancing) everynight but if a match was on we could get out of dancing so we watched EVERY game to avoid having to dance, goodtimes...
