I need a vacation!










These are Botero's famous sculptures in the city of Medellín, Colombia. I went there last february and took the pics.

Wonderful city, woderful people.

I NEED A VACATION!

May I recommend the Twin Cities as a place of vacation destination, and you can visit the Sculpture Garden in Minneapolis...the one Jodi has written about.

botero is so unique. it's wonderful when an artist has it's own style and it's recognized easily across the world. no two doubts about it.

and yes, everybody needs a vacation. mine would include pictures of any place in the world. the cold snows of alaska? the mosquito dominated jungles of the amazon? will i be able to rest? yes? wonderful :)

why don't cha come down under (i know there's a dirty joke in there somewhere)? it's just hit spring over here - perfect for beach weather ...

I too would recomend the Twin Cities region.....Chicago, for instance, has so me lovely statues and art.........and some other nice things to partake in!
